AIR FRANCE FLIGHT AF66 from Paris to USA was forced to make a sudden diversion over the Atlantic ocean and an emergency landing in Canada after losing part of the engine midflight. Passengers report a jolt and sudden bang at 35,000feet.
 
The plane reportedly shook for at least ten minutes and the pilot reportedly announced that the AirFrance Airbus A380 had lost an engine and would be forced to land in Canada. The Flight was diverted to Newfoundland and the affected engine shut down.
 
The plane shook for about 10 minutes, with a total of 497 passengers and 24 crew on board. No one was injured in this incidence after the troubled flight managed to land safely on 3 engines. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
